President's Message
Welcome to BGT Limited. It has been an interesting journey over the years to where we are today, and it will continue to be challenging and hopefully rewarding as we work towards making our future plans a reality.
BGT commenced the operations of our 8 vessel fleet in 1977 and the vision of BGT has always been, and will always continue to be, to provide safe, reliable and efficient LNG transportation services to our customers. To ensure that our vessels will meet the proper criteria to fulfill our vision, BGT's fleet is constantly surveyed by technical inspectors, vetting coordinators and our customers representatives to make certain that our operating standards are of the highest quality.
BGT has always been a leader in the LNG transportation industry by creating innovative and long term operating procedures and standards that have been followed by many other companies in our field. It is one of BGT's objectives to continue in this leadership role. We are committed to provide a world class project dedicated to environmental and safety standards.
The goal of BGT is to grow our position as a significant member of the LNG transportation industry. To achieve this goal we will focus on the continued reliability and longevity of our current fleet in order to enable us to offer our present and future customers the most competitive and reliable LNG transportation solutions adapted especially for their individual needs. In addition BGT will focus in the future on new opportunities in the rapidly growing LNG transportation industry, in order to enhance and compliment the core business we currently manage.
BGT has been very fortunate in the past to have been able to develop a loyal base of satisfied customers over many years, based on the reliability of the BGT fleet and the hard work and efforts of all members of the BGT team. Equally fortunate for BGT is to be associated with our shareholder companies Mitsui OSK Lines, Limited and LNG Japan Corporation, whose support and cooperation has allowed BGT to follow on its path of success. As President of BGT, I give my gratitude to our customers, employees and shareholders for their faith and support.
